ASIC group

ASIC Group led by Ing. Martin Rozkovec, Ph.D., deals with the design methodology of custom integrated circuits, especially embedded systems with various sensors. The group focuses on systems-on-chip design,IP cores design in HDL or using high-level synthesis, including simulation, verification and implementation in FPGA programmable circuits.

We address system design issues, electronic circuit diagnostics, implementation of algorithms in FPGA circuits, and practical system design issues including printed circuit boards. We specialize in data acquisition from sensor arrays and image processing, both in the visible and invisible part of the spectrum.

We have state-of-the-art instrumentation, development boards with FPGAs or commercial SoCs, industrial cameras incl. UV-VIS-NIR cameras, spectrometer and custom LWIR camera with open source HW and FW.

We offer our expertise in the following areas of research and development. We can also offer our knowledge and experience in operating the programs listed above through training, consulting services, implementation of custom designs, or brokering product or company contacts.
